Hi, I’m Julie

I’m a lifelong learner, mother of 3, spouse, trained Reiki practitioner, dog mom, house plant enthusiast, meditation teacher, recovering people-pleaser, spiritual seeker, amateur vegetable gardener, recovering workaholic, Enneagram 9, and hiker.

I’m passionate about wellness, mindfulness, helping people recognize their worth, paper planners, nature, and helping people navigate change.

Like you, life has thrown me some curveballs.

Like you, I’ve had times when I felt stuck and unsatisfied. And just like you there have been times in my life when I longed for a life that had me excited to wake up every morning. I spent years searching for answers and I found them in coaching.

Like you, I’ve initiated big changes in my life and then needed support to see them through.

As a coaching client, I was amazed at the shifts that occurred during coaching sessions and through the exercises I completed between sessions. This only increased as I entered training to become a coach.

Before I became a coach I had a 15-year career in the world of public education, including 6 years as an instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Those years in the classroom taught me the value of meeting each person as a unique individual, gave me a wealth of experience in group dynamics and facilitation, and illuminated the importance of a well-placed question. Toward the end of my time in education,

I was longing for a different way of interacting with individuals.

I was also longing for a life outside of the constraints of a 50+ hour a week job in a large institution. Coaching met both of those desires.

I completed my first coach training in 2013.

Over the years I’ve continued to learn and grow and refine my coaching skills. At this point I’ve accumulated nearly 3 years of rigorous coach training. I’ve coached individuals from all walks of life and across a wide age range. I’ve coached in classrooms, an advising office, a functional medicine clinic, and in private practice. I’ve been thoroughly trained and have the experience to help you reconnect with your most authentic self, break free from limiting beliefs, navigate change with clarity, integrity, and grace, and ultimately become mindfully rooted in a life you love.
